BOATED MARLIN - MEMBER COUPLE

THE GORDON AND JOAN LEAF PERPETUAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the winners of The Marlin Club President's Member Couples Tournament.

BOATED BILLFISH - ANY MEMBER

THE FRANK G. BELCHER PERPETUAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the member of The Marlin Club catching the largest billfish of the season.

BOATED SWORDFISH - ANY MEMBER

THE MARTHA BARBER PERPETUAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the member of The Marlin Club catching the largest Broadbill Swordfish of the season.

THE CARL H. SMITH PERPETUAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the member of The Marlin Club catching the largest Broadbill Swordfish of the season on medium tackle.

SPECIAL BROADBILL AWARD is awarded to any member who catches a Broadbill Swordfish on regulation tackle that does not qualify for an existing Broadbill Swordfish Button or Pin.

BOATED MARLIN - ANY MEMBER

THE THOMAS N. HOOPES PERPETUAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the member of The Marlin Club catching the first marlin of the season.

THE JOHN J. SALE NO. 1 MARLIN FLAG is presented to the member non-charter boat for the first marlin of the season taken by an eligible junior or senior member. The boat may fly the flag for each marlin caught that year, but at the end of the season it must be returned to The Marlin Club to be used again in following years.

THE NELSON-MOORE PERPETUAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the member of The Marlin Club catching the first button fish of the season.

THE C.J. HENDRY PERPETUAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the member of The Marlin Club catching the largest marlin of the season.

THE FRANK E. PASTORE PERPETUAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the member of The Marlin Club catching the smallest marlin of the season. 

THE HENRY B. CRAMER PERPETUAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the member of The Marlin Club catching the last marlin of the season.

THE MARGARET PENROSE PERPETUAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the member of The Marlin Club catching the largest marlin of the season from a skiff. A skiff shall be defined as an open type boat with no permanent superstructure (except of marine safety equipment), totally open to the elements, and self-propelled.

THE GARTZ GOULD PERPETUAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the member of The Marlin Club catching the largest marlin from a sailboat. 

ULTRA-LIGHT TACKLE RECOGNITION TROPHY is awarded annually to the member of The Marlin Club catching at least three (3) marlin, one each on any different line category of 2-lb, 4-lb, 6-lb, 8-lb, 12-lb, 16-lb, or 20-lb line test to qualify. The annual winner will be determined by the highest aggregate ratio of the three (3) marlin caught. The ratio for each marlin will be arrived at by dividing the breaking strength of the line used into the weight of the marlin. The ratio for the three (3) marlin will then be added together to arrive at the highest aggregate ratio.

THE HOWARD MINOR PERPETUAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the member of The Marlin Club, who obtains the highest accumulated Championship Points in a single day. The method of scoring Championship Points will be determined and administered using the Base Release Points and/or the Base Boated Points as defined in the Marlin Club's Annual Yearbook under Rules and Regulations, Championship Points Scoring Rules.

THE MARGARET PENROSE MEMORIAL CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY is awarded annually to the member of The Marlin Club, who obtains the highest accumulated individual Championship Points for the Season. To qualify for this trophy, a member must score by boating or tagging & releasing or releasing one (1) Marlin in each of the following tackle categories:   50-lb., 30-lb., 20-lb. & 16-lb.

The method of scoring Championship Points will be determined and administered using the Base Release Points and/or the Base Boated Points as defined in the Marlin Club's Annual Yearbook under Rules and Regulations, Championship Points Scoring Rules. The member who achieves this recognition shall be acknowledged as the Club's Champion Angler.

THE STANLEY ANDREWS PERPETUAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the member of The Marlin Club catching the largest marlin of the season on light (30-lb) tackle.

THE BONHAM BROTHERS PERPETUAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the member of The Marlin Club catching the largest marlin of the season on 3/6 (20-lb) tackle.

THE STEVEN D. WILLIAMS PERPETUAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the member of The Marlin Club catching the largest marlin of the season on 16-lb. test tackle.

THE DORIS HEARNE PERPETUAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the member of The Marlin Club catching the largest marlin of the season on 12-lb. test tackle.

MEMBER BOAT TROPHIES

THE AL PENROSE MEMORIAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the non-charter boat, owned in full or part by a member of The Marlin Club, crediting with scoring of highest number of Championship Points in a single day. The method of scoring Championship Points will be determined and administered using the Base Release Points and/or the Base Boated Points as defined in the Marlin Club's Annual Yearbook under Rules and Regulations, Championship Points Scoring Rules.

THE FRANK L. HOPE PERPETUAL TROPHY is awarded to the non-charter boat, owned in full or part by a member of The Marlin Club, credited with the most tagged and released marlin.

THE THOMPSON/COTTRIALL TROPHY is awarded annually to the non-charter boat credited with catching the most marlin changing associate members to active members.  In the case of tie - total gross weight of marlin shall determine the winner.

THE JACK CARLSON PERPETUAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the Junior Member catching the first marlin of the season.

THE JOHN TANNER PERPETUAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the Junior Member catching the largest marlin of the season.

THE D.D. WILLIAMS TROPHY is awarded annually to the Junior Member catching the last marlin of the season.

THE AL OGLE TROPHY is awarded annually to the Junior Member catching the largest marlin on medium (50-lb) tackle.

THE FRANK WISHON TROPHY is awarded annually to the Junior Member catching the largest marlin on regulation light (30-lb) tackle.

THE HENRY BRENT TROPHY is awarded annually to the Junior •ember catching the largest marlin on 3/6 (20-lb) tackle.

THE AL GALLAGHER TROPHY is awarded annually to the Junior Member catching the largest marlin on 16-lb tackle.

THE JACK BOHANNON TROPHY is awarded annually to the member of the Marlin Club catching the largest Yellowtail of the season.

THE MEL IBEY TROPHY is awarded annually to the member of the Marlin Club catching the largest Tuna of the season.

THE HUBBS / SEA WORLD TROPHY is awarded annually to the member of the Marlin Club catching the largest White Sea Bass of the season.
