On Saturday, January 31, the boats
gathered before 10am. As the RETRIEVER headed out, the boats
began leaving the Yacht Basin to go out to sea to bury their friend
Don Blackman. It was a windy choppy day on the water. The fleet of
over 50 boats went out past three miles to say goodbye to Don. Ashes
were spread, flowers were cast to the waves and a wreath floated on
