February Meeting Minutes

  1. Elected new officers and welcomed new directors.

  2. Big round of applause for Harold Weimer for completing repairs to the hoist – it should last another 50 years.

  3. Unanimous votes by all present to remove the light tackle marlin buttons (2, 4, & 6 lb test) – we will present this at the membership meeting.

  4. Dock usage was discussed – all members must have their insurance on file with the club and we will be strictly enforcing the 3-day limit.

  5. Jim Konzal gave a review of his meeting with Admiral Lautenbacher. They had a round table meeting to hear concerns from recreational fisherman.  Go to: http://www.nmfs.noaa.gov/recreational.htm for more information
