From the Bilge By Wayne Slahor, Club President It’s starting out to be a good year with over 60 fish recorded at the club (catches & releases). There have been periodic concentrations from the Coronado Islands to the La Jolla canyon. There have also been scattered catches throughout our area. It doesn’t look like the fish have moved towards Catalina Island as of this date. Now is the time to get that button fish. Remember they are a limited resource – release them if you can. Stop by the club and see the board for all the catches/releases and their locations on our map. See ya at the club! |

For the following tournaments please minimize your stay at our docks to allow room for tournament boats. Sept. 11th Luhrs Boat Owners Tournament Sept. 25th & 26th ILTT Tournament Also during these dates there will be no parking in the parking lot. We will have it chained up and locked. BIG GAME FISHING JOURNAL has made the club a generous offer. Not only are they going to provide magazines for our captains bags (ILTT) they are offering a $21.95 yearlong subscription for only $9.95. The only catch is you have to sign up at the Marlin Club. Send a check or stop by & pay cash. We will be sending the order in near the end of September.
