2nd Photographer Needed
The club is in need of a 2nd photographer - anyone interested please contact the club
at (619) 222-6877.
Barbara will continue to be on call for photos again this year; however, we need someone
to share the duties.
Board of Director's Meeting - June 18th
Albacore have arrived - and just in time
for our Spring Shoot Out Tournament. Best bite is still 60 to 70 miles out for the bigger
fish and some fish as close as 28 miles. There are reports of fish being taken at the
inner banks and up towards San Clemente. With the prospects for a late El Nino we should
have albacore through the summer and anticipate the arrive of yellowfin, dorado and
bigeye.
Hopefully the Marlin will show in good numbers and we can see how well our past presidents
did in predicting the date of the first Marlin taken.

May Tournament Results
HALIBUT DERBY FLAT OUT SUCCESS
Cris Lahrs and Mike Bingham co-chaired this event with 85 anglers participating and over 100 in attendance at the awards BBQ dinner. A large number of Halibut were taken.
Winners are:
No White Seabass were taken. Jackpot money was raffled off and Harry Okudas team won it.

SPRING SHOOT OUT TOURNAMENT
Bob Woodard Jr headed up this event with 47 anglers participating and over 45 joined us for the awards BBQ dinner. No White Seabass were weighed in.
