Cost is $100 per angler
minimum 2 per team, maximum of 4 per team

Team Boats from Fishing Clubs or
Organizations are encouraged to join. A club boat is
defined as 1 or more boats with 2 or more anglers representing any club or
organization. There will be a team plaque awarded to the winning team
boat.

Large Boat / Small Boat Divisions
Boats 30 and under will be in the small boat category. Boats over 30
will be in the large boat category.
- Captains Meeting -
Thursday, September 8th at 6:00pm at The Marlin Club.
One member of each team must attend.

Weigh in by 10:30 pm Sept 10th
Weigh slips or release slips MUST be in by 10:30 pm as well as the
cameras. Faxed slips are acceptable

Tackle
- 30 lb maximum for Marlin and 50 lb maximum
for Swordfish

Scoring
- 1 point per pound for boated fish and 130 points for each released
fish
- Fish
- Marlin and Swordfish are the only two species allowed
for point accumulation

Fishing Area
65 miles from #3 buoy (32-38.2 by 111-14.2) Chairman reserves the
right to adjust the grid to accommodate fishing.

Tournament Channel is 65
in the event that the reception on channel 65 is not at its best, an
area boat will be designated as Tournament Control.

Tournament Control
-
All hook-ups MUST be reported to Tournament Control within 5 minutes of
hook-up. Grid to be reported at that time. Before leadering a
fish, intent to release or boat the fish MUST be reported to Tournament
Control. Contact Tournament
Control at the time of release or boating of the fish. The release form
MUST be a Marlin Club form and filled out immediately after the
release and signed by all on board. Also, a photograph MUST be taken
with the provided camera, clearly showing the fish at the boat and the
leader in hand.

Tie
Ties will be broken based on the time that the hook up is called in. In
case of an absolute tie, the winner will be determined by raffle,
lottery or another agreed upon method as decided by the anglers and the
tournament board.

Release and Tagging of all Marlin
is encouraged.
