| The Marlin Club of San Diego's 15th Annual "Just for the Halibut" tournament was held on Saturday, May 19th. We had 71 anglers on 25 boats participating with 15 fish weighed in with 6 fish breaking double digits. The (advertised) 1st Place Award of $1,000 had been based on 85 participants and, therefore, was reduced to $850 and went to Jerry Adams fishing on the "Osprey" with a 21 pound 15 ounce "flattie." Jerry also had the 5th largest fish at 14 lb 8 oz. Other winners were: | ||
