42nd ANNUAL GENE GRIMES MEMORIAL
INVITATIONAL LIGHT TACKLE TOURNAMENT
Saturday, September 22
10/10/01 -This event was canceled this year. The first cancellation
was due to Coast Guard harbor entry restrictions, re-scheduled to Saturday, October 13, with the Awards Dinner, Sunday, October 14. Then due to lack of sufficient entries impacted by slower fishing and prior
terrorist events it had to be canceled all together. Entry fees will be refunded and
prizes will be held over to next years event.

minimum 2 per team, no maximum (includes T-shirt and BBQ) Additional dinners are $13.00 Weigh-in by 10pm

Fishing Area: AREAS The fishing areas of the Club shall be limited to those waters of the Pacific Ocean Iying between a line running due east and west (true) from the southern tip of San Martin Island on the South and a similar line running due east and west (true) from the northern tip of San Miguel Island on the North and out to, and not to exceed 150 nautical miles off mainland shore. Tournament Channel is 65 Intention to release fish must be reported to tournament control and release form filled out before leader is taken. Release forms must be Marlin Club forms and signed by all on board. Tie will be broken by time to boat for either release or taken fish. |
